LOIC GIRARD
For the past 5 years I have been working as senior designer for the Miami base jewelry company Miansai.
Prior to this i was freelancing as a senior 3D visualiser for many design agencies in London, such as Fitch, GPJ, Smyle, Clive, Muster, Innovision, Seen, Sunshine. Working in tandem with the design team, I design and produce 3D models from plans, site surveys or concept images, texturing, rendering and occasionally animating on a broad range of projects in Events, retail and hospitality sectors for prestigious clients including Facebook, Twitter, Nike, Bentley, Rio British Olympic House, Swarovski, Ruinart, Cisco, Xerocon.
Prior to Freelancing I have been working full-time for Hotel Creative, a multi-disciplinary creative consultancy in London as their senior 3D visualiser, for prestigious clients including Nike, Veuve Cliquot, Ami and Liberty. The majority of the projects require working through several iterations, liaising with the designers and clients and meeting very tight deadlines. As a result, I have learned to optimise my work-flow and communicate effectively with the rest of the team.
Prior to Hotel Creative, I worked for over 5 years as a freelance 3D visualiser, working on long-term architecture and interior design projects for clients including Thorp Design and large-scale event installations such as the Lions Festival in Cannes.
I work with various softwares including 3DS Max, Rhino and Cinema 4D and I have excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, regularly using Photoshop for photo-montages or post-production. In addition to my 3D work, I have also worked in the past as a photographer and videographer, which has greatly influenced my ability to create realistic computer generated imagery, in terms of light, composition and texture. I pride myself in working tirelessly to produce high-caliber renderings and animations that can enable my clients to meet their own goals.
